U.S. National Short Track Team member Alyson Dudek is an all-round athlete. Along with being both a short and long track skater, her sports background includes playing fastpitch softball for eight years (making the All-Star team) and running varsity track for four years.
Alyson started skating at the age 7. She has been a Category 1 short track athlete since 2003, a Category 1 long track athlete in 2004 and is currently a member of the U.S. Speedskating National Short Track Team training in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In 2005 she finished fourth overall at the U.S. Junior Long Track Championships and 15th overall at the U.S. National Short Track Championships. Alyson set a Junior C 1500m record and short samalog record.
Alyson enjoys going to the movies and camping. She thanks her parents for encouraging her in all of her accomplishments.
